Fifty lucky customers will be surprised with $50.00 gift certificates
MIAMI, March 28, 2012 – Sedano’s Supermarkets, the number one Hispanic retailer in the United States and the largest member of the Associated Grocers of Florida, invites the community to celebrate Sedano’s 50th Anniversary with a special “Thank You Savings” promotion to be offered from March 28 through April 11, 2012. This promotion will include significantly reduced prices on several of their most popular items such as: Sedano’s branded milk, Kellogg’s Corn Flakes, Sun-Up Medium Eggs, EDY’s Ice Cream, Tropicana Orange Juice, selected meats and fresh produce.
Additionally, to mark its milestone year, on Friday, March 30, Sedano’s will be surprising the first 50 shoppers to enter their flagship store on Bird Road and 87th Avenue between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. with a $50.00 gift certificate. This is part of Sedano’s continued support for the community and serves as a way to give back and say “Thank You” for shoppers’ 50 years of loyalty.

Since its beginnings, Sedano’s has helped fill the void Hispanic consumers felt when looking to find their favorite native products in Florida. From one store in 1962, the Sedano’s chain has grown to a total of 34 stores that span across South and Central Florida and offer consumers Latin foods and products. Today, Sedano’s employs more than 3,000 people, and produces more than 80 private label items including a variety of breads, bottled water, sugar, seasoned garlic sauce, a variety of oils, olives, and tropical-flavored ice cream, among others.
