Online Ordering

How can I order my groceries online?

You can order your groceries online directly with us through our Pickup or Delivery services on Sedanos.com

How do I place an order?

    1. Visit Sedanos.com to begin 
    2. Choose how you would like to receive your order: pickup or delivery location.
  • Sign into your account or create a new account to begin.
  1. If pickup: Select a store where you would like to pickup your order. Click here to choose a store.
  2. If delivery: enter full mailing address and continue shopping. Click here to choose a store.
  3. Tap or click View all available items to choose your pickup or delivery window.
  4. Add items to your cart. Your shopping cart will show you the estimated order total in your shopping cart.
  5. When you're ready to check out, tap or click Check out.
  6. You will be redirected to our secured payment window where you can add your payment method.
  7. On the Review Your Order screen, you can update your location, phone number, and payment method. You can also manage your substitutions and add promo codes. When done, tap or click Place order.

After you place your order, you can view it in your account. You can edit, cancel, or reschedule.

How do I reorder my last purchase?

Visit Sedanos.com and log into your account.

Go to “My Orders” in your account and locate the order you would like to reorder.

Click on the Order# you would like to reorder.

Review your order history and choose the products to reorder items as needed.

Add these items to your list by clicking on “Add All Products to List"

Then continue to the normal check-out process.

What is Delivery and how does it work?

Delivery is a service that lets you shop from your local Sedano's store online and get your groceries delivered right to your doorstep. Simply, add the items to your cart, select a delivery window, and we will do the rest. Click here to start your delivery order!

What are Pickup and Delivery hours and locations?

The hours for pickup range by store, but they are usually from 9am to 8pm local time, with the last time slot starting at 7:00pm. Delivery hours change by store, but they are usually between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m., with 8 p.m. being the start of the last time slot. Depending on where you are, the order time slots may be different. What is Sedano’s Pick Up?

Sedano’s Pick Up is our online grocery service for ordering the Sedano’s products you love and picking that up at your favorite local Sedano’s store. 

Can someone load my order into my car?

Yes, park in a designated Curbside Pickup spot and a Sedano’s associate will bring your order directly to your car and load it for you.

How do I shop Sedano’s Pick Up and reserve a time slot?

Start by selecting your Sedano’s pickup location. You can do this by clicking on the “Store”  link in the main menu and choosing your store or by entering your zip code. Once you've chosen your store, you can start shopping. You can start shopping by clicking on the weekly ad or using the search bar to add to your cart. Click the shopping basket in the top right corner when you're ready to pay. You can choose a one-hour time to pick up your groceries from there. Start shopping weekly ad specials now!

When would the quickest time slot be available for a Pickup or Delivery?

Time slots can be available in as little as two hours. Availability will vary depending on the time and day. Please visit Sedanos.com to view the available time slots for Pickup and Delivery.

How long does it take to pick up my order?

As you are on your way to our store, we are actively working to retrieve and fulfill your order. Our goal as a company is to bring your groceries to you within five minutes of your arrival.

How soon can I pick up my order?

Orders can be picked up in as little as two hours.

Is there a minimum order value for Curbside Pickup or Delivery orders?

There is no minimum order value for Curbside Pickup or Delivery orders at this time.

The Pickup or Delivery date or time I am requesting is not available.

Due to increased demand for Pickup and Delivery services, some time slots may not be available. Please select another available time that works best for you!

Once I place my order, how soon can I pick it up?

Sedano’s Pick Up requires a minimum of 3 hours before you can pick up your order.  This may be extended based on the availability of time slots or specialty products that need additional time to prepare.

How long do I have to pick up my order?

Pick up windows are normally one hour long.

What happens if I miss my window for pick up?

If you are unable to arrive in time to pick up your order within the 1 hour window that was selected, please call that store as soon as you know you won’t be able to make it and let them know what time you will arrive.  Typical Sedano’s Pick Up hours are from 9 am - 8 pm.  Please check with your local Sedano’s for details.

If you have an emergency and cannot pick up your groceries, please contact the location as soon as you can to find a time that you are able to pick up your groceries.

If you are unable to reach the store due to inclement weather, please let us know if you will be delayed. We will have your personal shopper contact you in the event that your order will be delayed due to weather or power outages.

My order isn’t ready yet and it is past my pickup window?

Check your text notifications and emails for updates. If you still have not received a notification that your order is ready and it is past the end of your time slot, please contact your selected Sedano’s store or call us at (305) 815-4163

What methods of payment are accepted at Sedano’s Pick Up?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, and prepaid credit cards. We do not accept EBT or gift cards as a form of online payment at this time.

Where’s the receipt for my Curbside Pickup or Delivery order?

You can find your order receipt in your email 24 to 48 hours after your order has been picked up or delivered.

Why am I shown an estimated subtotal for my Curbside Pickup or Delivery order?

Total prices are estimates only. Advertised prices may change depending on your date of Pickup or Delivery. Your total price may vary. Certain promotions may not be reflected in the cart at checkout but the discounts will be reflected on your final receipt and order history upon delivery. Other factors, such as scale measured items and substitutions, may also impact your total price estimate. However, you will only be charged for the actual products selected in store and delivered to you. Why was I charged a different amount from the original total?

Can I make a tax-exempt purchase in my order?

No, tax exempt purchases are not eligible for Pickup or Delivery orders. You must present the physical tax-exempt card at the store in order to purchase tax-exempt.

What is your cancellation policy?

Orders can be canceled at any time prior to goods leaving the store. Once an order has been picked up it cannot be canceled.

Are tips accepted?

Yes, you may leave a tip during the checkout process.

How far in advance can I place an order?

Orders can be placed up to 7 days in advance.

What is the fee for Sedano’s Pick Up?

There is no fee for a Sedano’s Pick Up.

Can someone else pick up my order on my behalf?

Yes.  Make sure the person is of age and has a valid ID if an age-restricted item has been purchased.

Can I purchase alcohol, tobacco, or lottery tickets from Sedano’s Pick Up?

You can purchase alcohol from Sedano’s Pick Up in select locations, just remember to bring a valid ID.  Tobacco and lottery cannot be purchased through Sedano’s Pick Up, however, you can buy them in-store at the time of pick up.

How do I add a note to my order?

You will be able to leave specific delivery directions during the checkout process.

What can I do if I am having trouble with my Curbside Pickup or Delivery order?

What type of communication will I receive about my order?

You will receive email communications regarding your order.

1) Order confirmation once you place your order.

2) Order Ready email to let you know when your order is on its way for delivery or when it's ready to be picked up.

3) Order payment email 24-48 hours after your order has been delivered or picked up.

In addition, you may receive SMS text messages for pick up orders.

Can I still use my preferred marketplace vendor [Uber Eats, Shipt, Doordash, Instacart]?

You can still order through Uber Eats, Shipt, Doordash, or Uber Grocery depending on availability in your area.

Can I make changes to my order after it has been submitted?

You can make changes to your order up until the point that your order is being picked.

How can I change my store location for Pickup or Delivery?

You can change your store location for Pickup during checkout, however some of your items previously selected may not be available if you change stores due to differing stock availability. You will not be able to change your store for Delivery, as the closest and most efficient store will automatically be selected based on your delivery address.

Can I order prescriptions through Sedano’s Pick Up?

No. At this time you cannot order any prescriptions at Sedano’s.

How do I return items from my order?

Items for return can be returned for a full refund at the service counter at your local Sedano’s.

What if an item I want is not shown online?

While some items are currently available in-store only, we're always looking to expand our online product offerings. Your selected store may also be out of that item so if possible you should complete your order and then try another store. Note: Switching stores mid-order may result in changing all of your saved items. You can also choose a substitute or comparable item and our picker will find you an item that you’ll be happy with. 

Does Sedano’s Pick Up and Delivery accept paper coupons?

No. Sedano’s Pick Up and Delivery does not accept paper coupons.

Can I use digital coupons for Sedano’s Pickup or Delivery orders?

No. Sedano’s Pick Up and Delivery does not accept paper coupons.

How do my products stay fresh until pick up?

Your products will be kept in different temperature zones to ensure maximum freshness. Frozen items will stay in the freezer and cold items in refrigeration.

Why is there a hold for authorization on my credit or debit card?

The provisional hold is from your banking institution for the amount of $5 or 10%, whichever is higher.  It helps to account for final sales tax, substitutions and variation in items sold by weight.

What happens if an item in my order is not available?

You may choose to allow “best comparable” substitutions or not allow substitutions on individual items or all items in your order. If an item is unavailable and you selected “best comparable substitution,” your personal shopper will substitute this item with the next closest item in brand and size.  If a substitute is given that a customer does not like, they can bring the item back to the store or exchange that item for a full refund or a different product at the time of pick up.

Can I cancel an order?

Orders can be canceled online up until the point the order has been picked.  Once an order has been picked, an order cannot be canceled.

Can I change my pick up time or location?

No. Once an order has been picked, the pick-up time cannot be changed. The store location that the order was placed at cannot be changed. You can change the pick-up time of your order until the point that your order has started being picked. 

What kinds of products can I buy through the Sedano’s Pickup or Delivery services?

How do I purchase alcohol?

To order alcohol, add the item to your cart and complete the checkout. When you arrive at the store or when your delivery driver arrives, have your ID ready. Click here to view our selection.

Alcohol is available for pickup and delivery in some locations. 

Alcohol will be removed from your order or will not be delivered if:

  • You are under 21 years of age
  • It appears that you are buying alcohol for someone under 21 years of age
  • You don't have a valid ID.

Valid IDs

Please note that accepted forms of ID are Driver's Licenses, State-issued Identification Cards, U.S. Passports, Military Identification Cards, U.S. Immigration Cards, Tribal IDs in specific states, or other similar government-issued ID's that are recognized with the state.

Are all Sedano’s products available at Sedano’s Pick Up?

We try to match our in-store selection as closely as possible and are working on adding products all the time. There are some items that are not available at Sedano’s Pick Up such as tobacco and lottery.

Do online prices match in-store?

Yes, the same low prices are available at Sedano’s Pick Up and Delivery. Some prices may change between the time you place your order and the time you pick up or when your order is delivered. Certain promotions may not be reflected in the cart at checkout, but the discounts will be reflected on your final receipt and order history upon pick up or delivery. How do sales get applied to my online order?

Our weekly ad runs Wednesday to the following Tuesday each week.  If you build your order and pick it up within that weekly ad timeframe you will receive those ad prices. If you submit an order during one ad week and pick it up during another ad week, some prices may shift due to the new ad that will feature different prices. In the event of disagreement between the flyer and our online pricing, the flyer shall take precedence. Exclusions apply. 

How do I know I am getting the freshest produce?

All of our personal shoppers go through a multi-level training program so we review best shopping practices in produce selection to ensure you receive the freshest produce we offer.

How can the weather affect my order?

We hope that weather will never prevent you from picking up your groceries at Sedano’s in a timely manner. Please let us know if you will be delayed in picking up your order. In the event that your order will be delayed due to weather or a power outage, your personal shopper or our store will contact you.
